Where It Started

Helping Hands and Paws Foundation is a nonprofit humanitarian and animal-welfare organization. We are dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness or crisis situations by providing essential resources for both them and their pets. Our mission is to ensure that no one must choose between seeking help for themselves and keeping their animal companion safe.

Our foundation was born out of a lifelong passion for animal rescue and a deep commitment to serving vulnerable communities. The turning point came when our directors witnessed the strong bond between people and their pets within the homeless community. This led to the realization of a critical gap in services for people who loved their pets deeply but had nowhere for them to go during times of crisis. Today, we continue to honor our mission—supporting people, protecting pets, and preserving the bond that keeps them connected during life’s hardest moments.
